Cacti Nails for Summer

Cacti Nail Art

Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was filled with yummy food and one of those foods being Key Lime Pie, my favorite! So much yumminess! Anywhoo this week starts a new Digital Dozen Week and I'm going to do my best to have a blog post up daily for it. I have been so bad recently about being prepared for the DD week but this month I have a lil wiggle room, but ever since I switched to posting every other day, its hard to get back to every day for a week. That being said I think I have it figured out for this week so we will hope for the best!

Cacti Nail Art

This week is a tropical theme so I have geared my manis towards that! Now I guess some might not consider Cacti Tropical but I feel like I associate them with tropical things mainly because they are something I only see when I am near the beach, actually I take that back I think I have seen some in some yards, and maybe on a few hikes. Well actually we only ever hike on the barrier island so still I guess thats water/ocean based. LOL, so yeah for me I think tropical when I think of cacti!

For this mani I used Nails Inc, White Out. Which I love by the way. Then I used Glam Polish Tropic Like Its Hot which is the super fun pink you are seeing. The green and the black are just acrylic paints that I freehanded with my Mitty Candy 00 brush.

These nails were inspired by Nailart_bygracie on Instagram! She is so talented, and every mani she posts is perfect! Plus I feel like her IG reminds me so much of the way Instagram used to be and it just makes me happy. Plus she literally posts a tutorial for ever mani, and that just makes me want to scroll forever and watch them all!

Well guys that is it! I hope you have enjoyed this tropical cacti mani! I know I loved wearing it and actually painting it was quite fun as well! :) Be sure to check out the rest of the DD manis this week. I will try to add the links at the end of the post soon as I can. Having some issues with them at the moment, but will add them when I can!

Topic Tuesday

Now I do also have a new video up on Youtube today! I am playing catch up, last week I intended on joining the Topic Tuesday Tag videos but the topics hadn't been announced over the weekend which is when I tend to film those videos, and then Monday and Tuesday we have loud disturbances out side sooo, we shall have 2 videos of the Topic Tuesdays this week! Also I got some new lighting so I am trying out different things to see what works best. So let me know what you think. This week's video it all about what our favorite base and top coats are. It was fun to talk about all of them because I didn't really realize I had so many different sets of faves for different things. Ha! So check that out and let me know what your faves are while you are at it too. :)

Hope you are having a WONDERFUL day!

  1. Cute mani Sarah! We have a lot of cacti here (saguaro, the kind in your mani). Fun fact - those saguaro cactus grow naturally in only 1 desert - the Sonoran (here). :) I never thought I'd live somewhere so dry. LOL

    1. Yay now I know the name! I bet thats kind of neat to see them, when they flower do the flowers stick around. We have the cacti that are the more rounded ones that are usually stacked if that makes sense! LOL, and their flowers are little!
