Cupcake Polish

Hello there and welcome back! Another post 2 days in a row?! This is crazy, and exciting all at once. Today I have some new Cupcake Polishes to show you! Actually 2 different collections, I asked on Instagram if you wanted them in one post or 2 and 1 won so that is what we are doing today! First we will be taking a look at Cupcake Polishes Magic Trio that is releasing October 1st. Then another trio that is exclusive to the Cupcake Polish Facebook group that is also releasing October 1st. Now enough chit chat, how about a look at the polishes?!

Cupcake Polish Magic Trio

First up is the Magic Trio which has 3 black jelly based polishes that are packed with flakies and shimmers making them each unique and perfect! You can see them above with their names.

Cupcake Polish Now You See Me

Now You See Me
2 Coats

A black jelly based nail polish with green to red shifting shimmers and a rainbow of iridescent flakies.

Cupcake Polish Now You See Me

Ok just a lil quick disclaimer, this Magic Trio is very consistent and they all have great formulas so I will be repeating that because I've realized you can run out of different ways to say its such a great formula. :)

That being said this has a fabulous formula and applies very evenly and even though it is a jelly base its so jam packed with flakies and shimmers that is builds up very easily and 2 coats covers your nail completely.

Cupcake Polish Now You See Me

I love how these look in macro photos! I mean you really get to sew all of the lil detail in the polish and how vibrant that green shimmer is in this one!

Cupcake Polish Pick A Card

Pick a Card
2 Coats

A black jelly based nail polish with red to orange shifting shimmers and a rainbow of iridescent flakies.

Cupcake Polish Pick A Card

Another great formula with such a bold vibrant purple/red shimmer. The flakies really stand out in this polish too! The green and gold flakies really pop in my opinion.

See you can really see a few in this shot.

Cupcake Polish Quick Change

Quick Change
2 Coats

A black jelly based nail polish with indigo to blue shifting shimmers and a rainbow of iridescent flakies.

Cupcake Polish Quick Change

Quick Change is a night skin in a bottle. The blue shimmer is so strong it makes it might a deep midnight blue shade and the purple teal combo in it just works so well.

Cupcake Polish Quick Change

Here you can see all of the elements in the polish for sure. Its a beauty!

Cupcake Polish Magic Trio

Here is a quick lil round up look at this trio! It will be available starting on October 1st at 8pm CST. These will be a very Limited Edition release so you will want to be early for the release plus there will be a melting wax to go with as well. Its a Thousands Wishes Bath and Body Works dupe. The polishes will be $13 each and the wax will be $2. If you want all of the polishes and the wax though you can get it discounted for $35.

Cupcake Polish Facebook Exclusive

Cupcake Polish Fall By the Sea

Fall By The Sea
2 Coats

A teal crème based scattered holo polish with bronze/red/gold shifting multichrome flakies.

Cupcake Polish Fall By the Sea

This one is totally my fave of this whole post! I mean ya'll probably guessed that just by seeing the title of the polish! Fall By the Sea is perfection. Its a pretty teal blue shade that reminds you of the ocean on a sunny day, and then its got flakies that are like the colors of fall leaves. Where I am we do get enough change in colors for my liking it just comes closer to December, granted we make it through September and October without a Hurricane.

The formula was a perfect and I just love how it looks, the perfect balance of creme but also holo in direct light and then perfectly laid flakies.

Cupcake Polish Fall By the Sea

Actually fun lil tidbit, on the way to the beach this week I noticed a few trees starting to change and looking out our back sliding glass door at the moment I can see some yellow specks here and there.

Cupcake Polish Trick or Treat Yo' Self

Trick or Treat Yo' Self
2 Coats

A burgundy metallic foil nail polish.

Cupcake Polish Trick or Treat Yo' Self

Wow, this polish is lovely. The formula was flawless and covers so nicely. Its the perfect deep red almost Burgundy metallic polish. Putting this on made me realize its been a long time since I've worn a polish like this and it was most refreshing.

Cupcake Polish Trick or Treat Yo' Self

Plus stay tuned to see it matte, it looks so neat and velvety with a matte finish.

Cupcake Polish Gestalt

Gestalt
2 Coats

A very dark turquoise shimmer polish packed with red to orange shifting shimmer.

Cupcake Polish Gestalt

Any one looking for the perfect deep hunter green with a splash of color and a fab formula? Because ummm, I found it! Its this one right here. When I think of hunter green polishes I most often think of it having a teal shimmer so when this one had a pinkish red roan and a slight touch of purple I was intrigued. They all show so well in the polish really catch in the light.

Cupcake Polish Gestalt

As you already know it applied really nicely and you will get to see that actually, because I have a swatch video up to go with today on my YouTube channel.

Cupcake Polish Facebook Exclusive

Here is your quick final look at the Facebook Exclusive polishes. They are really gorgeous and are fun for this time of the year. These will be available on Oct 1st at 8pm CST. Remember to get this polish you must be in the Facebook group so be sure to join here.

Now time for some Nail Art!

Gear Nail Art

I'm in a matte phase right now for nail art which I think will actually make some happy because some love to see a sparkly polish matte, I'm always a lil hesitant about it but I'm actually liking it at the moment so I'll just run with it!  Here I used Quick Change as a base polish and then did some gear work on top? I'm not sure what I was doing! Ha it started with a circle and well the rest is history! LOL

Gear Nail Art

I just used white acrylic paint and mattified it all after and I will say Quick Change looks neat matte!

Simple Floral Nails

Next up I wanted to highlight that neat shimmer in Gestalt so I did some two toned pink/Burgundy flowers on top for something a lil different. Plus its been a bit since I've done a floral. I think, but really I don't know at this point! Ha, my camera rolls are over flowing with photos so who knows.

Simple Floral Nails

I quite enjoyed this with a shiny finish so I left it like that, but the next mani is all matte!

Fall Nail Art

With a polish being named Trick or Treat Yo' Self I felt like candy was a must. So I tried to do art inspired by candy corn and candy pumpkins. We have candy corn mixed with peanuts out on our counter right now and I really do like that combo a lil sweet and salty is always nice!

Fall Nail Art

I freehanded all of the art with acrylic paint and then topped it with a matte top coat and I really like it. I kept this mani on for about 24 hours and it kinda felt like I put stickers on which is always a nice feeling if you have freehanded it!
