Fall Looks With China Glaze

Fall Nail Art

Hello there! Welcome back, and can you believe it two posts in one day! So the other day in the China Glaze post about the new FW '18 Collection I kind of alluded to the fact I had some nail art to go with, and I considered saving it but I have decided to go ahead and share today because well why not. I did warn there will be lots of new posts in the upcoming days so lets start with 2 easy fall nail art look using the new China Glaze fall Collection!

Fall Color Board

The first look features 3 of the new China Glaze shades, all of which you can find swatched and reviewed here. For something just a lil different I put them all above to add a lil something extra fun, well I mean I think its fun at least! Ha! Hopefully you do as well! The colors are Mustard the Courage, Throwing Suede, and Sample Sizing Me Up!

This mani was inspired by the dress that Alessia Cara wore to the MMVAS red carpet event. See it here. Soon as I saw the dress even tho it's not quite my style it made me think of these three polishes so of course I had to make my nails match. So the base is Throwing Suede which is that pale shade that almost looks pink at times, but also like an off white.

I then used Mustard the Courage, and Sample Sizing me to create the abstract stripe look. I loved how easy this was because the more imperfect it was the more perfect it was. LOL, did that even make sense?! I think it might have but I'm not 100% sure.

There are so many color options you could do for this look too! Just think of all the possibilities.

Next up is just a mani I made up as I went and basically just grabbed colors I wanted to use. So I started with Central Parka which I am LOVING. Then decided to use Swatch out and Mustard the Courage for the art.

Sunflower Nail Art

Swatch Out! Is such a nice copper polish and it makes for great dots. I'm loving it with the green too, and in all honesty I would have been happy with just the dots too but decided to go the extra mile with some flowers to make it scream fall! :)

Sunflower Nail Art

The base of the flower was done with Mustard the Courage. Then I went in with yellow acrylic paint and added in some more petals. Once that was done I painted the center of the flower with a brown acrylic paint and also added a few strokes of the brown on the flower petals here and there to give more detail. After that I then dotted the centers with lil black and tan dots to create the textured look for the center of the flower.

Sunflower Nail Art

Overall it was a really quick and easy mani actually and it was really fun to wear! I actually painted it twice because my mom liked it so much she wanted to wear it which says a lot because the two main colors, the green and yellow, are not colors she likes so that was pretty cool!

Well guys that is it for this post! I hope you have enjoyed it maybe you are now feeling like some fall nails! Ha, I mean who is actually ready for fall? I am not in so many ways, but also I don't mind getting my leggings out soon soooo! LOL! I hope you are having a wonderful day and I will talk to you soon!

Happy Painting!
