Hello there and welcome back, how are we all doing on this fine Monday? I am super excited about the fact I am sharing this blog post because the whole time while I've been playing with this new Revealing The Magical World Collection from Glam Polish I can't help but smile! The names of the polishes in todays post are so clever and they just make you smile or giggle. I mean for example, Six Shots of Giggle Water! Hehe, that might be my favorite name of them all!
They'll Obliviate You In a Heartbeat
2-3 coats
Light copper holo, with iridescent flakies, ultra holo glitter and fine holo microglitter.
Out of all of the polishes today this one has the thinnest formula but it still covers in a quick 3 coats and its so worth it! This polish has such a beautiful shimmer, and glow too it. From the holo to the fiery flakies.
This one is just so pretty and even though its a coppery gold its got so many other colors going on as well as when you move your nails around.
I've Got a Section 3A
2 coats
Plum jelly with iridescent flakies and ultra holo glitter.
A deep red/plum jelly that covers perfectly in 2 coats! Yes please! Also can we just look at those flakies in this polish! They are amazing and I'm SO happy they showed so well in the macro photo because that doesn't always happen but it did this time and its just great!
This polish was a breeze to apply and I just love it on. Like it a darker polish but also vibrant and bold at the same time too so not as dark as one might expect.
Please Don't Read My Mind
2 coats
Violet-Red-Gold multichrome with iridescent flakies and fine holo micro glitter.
Multichrome purply blue time! Just look at this with a slight red violet tone closer up and then the blue further away. Its lovely and the flakies really just add a whole other fun element to this polish, and since these are bigger flakies pop even more.
I love looking at it super unclose don't you? Its so neat and different!
You've Got Your Wand Permit?
2 coats
Red jelly with iridescent flakies and ultra holo.
See what I mean about the names with this collection tho?! Its so fun right?! I just love it! Here we have such a pretty red and the jelly feel too it really makes it even 10X better because as you do 2 coats you get the neat layers of the red going on top of the flakies and it just creates a neat look I think!
I also love how the blue/purple shift in the glitters really pop in this because I feel like thats an unexpected color to show up in a red but it works SO well!
Six Shots of Giggle Water
2 coats
Cerulean Blue jelly with iridescent flakies and ultra holo glitter.
I can't see this one and not smile! One reason being the name being funny and the other being that its just so pretty and you all know I love shades like this. Plus the depth in this polish is great as you can see. Also might I add Glam Polish does these types of polishes just excellently.
They always know what to mix to get just the right consistency, and coverage, and the different elements always distribute themselves so nicely.
I didn't mattify all of the polishes this time around because of time and things being a bit crazy, but I do have Six Shots of Giggle Water Mattified because I did some art on top of it. I *tried* to do leaves, but I'm not that great with leaves, ha, pine needless and palm fronds are more my thing apparently!
However I saw THIS stamped mani on Instagram while I was wearing They'll Obilivate You In a Heartbeat and I had to do it. Obviously I can't stamp nor did I have the plate with it so I just freehanded it, with acrylic paint and it was pretty fun!
I actually really liked it! It was fun to do and pretty simple! What do you think of it?!
