Londontown Lakur

Hello there everyone! Hope your morning is off to a good start. Today is another Digital Dozen Art day which means there is art in todays post even though we are also having some swatches and a swatch video. Mainly because one of my goals for 2019 is to participate in all of our Digital Dozen themes. So lets check it out, oh and the swatches of some new to me polishes!

Londontown Lakur

Brit of Love
2 coats

Pink with a coral tone to it depending on skin tone and what you are around.

Londontown Lakur

Love this pink, its a happy pink, a nice shade. Looks like a coral at times and it has the newer Londontown brush which is one of those larger flatter brushes which is my fave! The brush allows for the polish to apply really well too. Especially when you see it compared to how the others applied in the video. They all virtually have the same formula but the brush makes all the difference.

Londontown Lakur

Reverse the Charges
2 coats

A light/bright turquoise polish.

Londontown Lakur

This polish has a smaller brush so not as an easy application like Brit of Love. Takes a little more effort but still covers in 2 coats and is a really nice shade. One thing to note... When removing if the blue touches your skin it can leave a lil stain on the skin, nothing a sugar scrub cant fit but can be a bit aggravating to some. Now that all being said I did not notice any staining on my nails and I wore the nail art design that is later in this post for a day and there was no issue.

Londontown Lakur

Trolley Away
2 coats

A light lavender.

Londontown Lakur

Really love the tone of this lavender. Its nice and not too blue, or too pink or anything. Just a nice balanced lavender in my opinion. This does have the smaller brush and thats eh, but still can result in full coverage in 2 coats. I think the only reason I don't care for the brushes is because one of these had a nice larger brush that is so nice. However there are still plenty that prefer a smaller thinner brush! :)

Marble Nail Art

So here is the art! I did a drip marble using Trolley Away, Reverse the Charges, and the Sinful Colors Hypnotic Transforming polish that released end of 2017 early 2018. (I don't know if its still available, but I love them and think they should be Brought back! ) If you want to see how to do that you can HERE in a video from last year. Not a wonderful video by any means! If you would like to see a new video for how to do it let me know and I'll add it to a to do list. :)

Marble Nail Art

I then applied the decal I made, added the accent nails and was done! It was quite the easy mani! Oh and the glitter is Butter London Gold Rush, which is a peel off glitter that I LOVE!

Marble Nail Art
