Hi, Hey, Hello! Hope you are having a lovely day. Its super hot out here so no lanai time for this weekend, so I'll just be sitting inside writing blog posts, waiting for my jelly paint to arrive, and obsess over my new blog design! I spent all of last night, Saturday night, on revamping the site! I have been wanting to make the aesthetic here match more of my personal style/interest, and I think I'm finally almost there! I've finally got it down on Instagram so now I'm working on it here! :)
So let me know what you think of the new design, and what you would like to see here, as I want to add more content than just nails, because well there is more to me than just nails! :)
So first off I thought hey, I am behind in sharing manis that I have been sharing on my Youtube Channel so lets catch up! The other day I posted a video on Youtube of this mani! See it HERE.
I was mainly creating it to review some brushes I received from Whats Up Nails, but then it just turned into one of my new favorite manis! :)
Its really a tutorial that needs patience, and I do realize that but sometimes I think thats a fun thing to tackle because it does kind of put you in this lil creative bubble and helps you to not think about everything. I feel like since we are all home more, on devices more, and constantly consuming news, its hard to not think about everything 24/7. So trying a more daunting creative activity can help my opinion to just shut off, and distract yourself.
I even recreated this design on Procreate and turned it into a tile illustration! Here is a lil hanging piece of it! :) I then later on also turned it into a full tile wall illustration which was super fun and I'll probably put that up on my Procreate Portfolio that I badly need to update! LOL!
Polish wise for this look I used Kinx White Collar as my base color, and then I did the details with acrylic paint using the Whats Up Nails Dance 24 Brush!
It was such a fun manicure to do, and to wear, and its was the more detailed look that I have done in a long time, and I definitely want to get back to doing more like it. :) Hope you liked it as well!
