A Week In the Life Vol. 7

Hello there and welcome back! So this week was a pretty normal week I would say. I did sort of fall off of the challenge I have been trying to participate in as I just wasn't feeling the prompts, but I hope to attempt to jump back in!

Mid-week I was just really kinda needing a change of scenery, nothing was working, wasn't in the best of headspace so we changed up the day. Rather than the normal routine of wake up, play with Ellie, get ready, lunch work, dinner, work, and then sleep... We got ready earlier and headed out. Went to Target, picked up dessert at a lil French bakery. Then we grabbed lunch at a walk up spot in St Aug Beach. Enjoyed the view change. Watched the waves for a bit near the pier, and then headed to a green house. 

There we checked out the herbs, and got a new rosemary. The rest weren't looking wonderful after the freeze we had recently so we will wait on those a bit. It was SO nice to get out and see different areas that spark inspiration. We certainly need to do it more. It was much needed!

Since that I've certainly felt a bit more excited and inspired to create, and got a lil bit out of my own head which is nice. Ellie went with too since we stayed outside. I carried her in her Puppy sling, and it was just great to share that time together. That night she was in the best lil goofy mood and had us laughing and it was wonderful. So happy to have her in my life. You can see some of her shenanigans in the vlog I posted on Friday on Youtube! :) 

The first photo in todays post is what I did after out lil outing. I did some quick doodles of the day, and I kinda loved it, how fun to try and illustrate the day! I shall try to do it more on days I leave the house! Well I bet my iPad is all charged up and ready for me to get back to finishing the pattern I am working on. Its a lil different color wise, yet it still works somehow! I am pretty excited about it!
