Hello there and Good morning, and Happy New Years Eve! Wow, has this snuck up! Seems as if this year went by super fast, and came to an end even quicker. I havent even had time to white those best of, or favorite posts for 2018, so I may just sneak those in to the first part of the year! :) Today I wanted to share some last minute NYE nail art because really they are good for the whole week in my opinion and there is just something about black and gold! So today there are two 2 brand new ideas/looks, and then some from past years that I just love and couldn't help but revive for this year.
First up is the newest mani! This one is probably my favorite of the day because its so festive and fun, plus kind of busy and I love a busy nail art print. I was inspired to create this one after seeing THIS on Pinterest. Plus I've been loving Chalkboard art and I feel like this kinda has that sort of look!
I started with a black base and then did all of the art with acrylic paint and topped it all with a matte top coat to achieve the whole chalkboard feel. Also guess what?! There is a tutorial for this mani, and I show you step by step how to do it. Well I don't show putting the 2019 on there but in all honesty you don't have to have that at all, you can totally leave that out! Trust me I know how daunting painting letters and numbers onto nails can be.
Next up we have a super "standard" NYE nail art look, I just simply painted on the year and as you can imagine this can easily work every year and you can totally do it on what ever base you would like. This year I wanted sparkle, black, and more sparkle so I used Die Hard from Moon Shine Mani!
Its the ultimate black glitter I think! I mean you literally get every color! I then just used white acrylic paint to on the year which was easy once I kinda got the sketch like shape of the number ON my nail. :) Centering and evening it all out is always the hardest.
Now its time to take a little trip to the past! Champagne glasses are always a cute idea for NYE nails and these are really quite easy. Plus I have a video from when I used to create Paint With Me videos! Check it out HERE.
You can never go wrong with a quatrefoil so when you turn it into a NYE mani with silver, gold, and black its even better! Last year I created a video for easy dot oriented NYE nail art that this mani was featured in, watch HERE.
Now a full fledged dotticure which is so easy and simple, and can easily be done on BOTH hands! :) Also funny thing, I remember making this video last year and seriously thought it was the coolest thing ever, but now I look at it and am just so excited to see how far my videos have come this year!
Check out this ones tutorial HERE.
Now last but most certainly not least we have a fun little dot gradation which again is super easy and long as you have something to make dots with you can easily do it and in a really quick amount of time!
Well everyone that is it! I hope you have enjoyed all of these ideas and maybe one of them has even inspired you to do your nails! I hope you are all having a wonderful end to 2018 and hope you have an even better start to 2019. I'm looking forward to lots of fun blogging things in the next few weeks and ideas I've had + things like Sweetpeas Picks starting again. :) Thank you ALL so much for being so wonderful this year, you are jus amazing and even in the really hard times having this blog and my Youtube channel gave me something to be excited about, it was definitely a year of ups and down! So again thank you all so much every little comment and interaction I have with anyone on here is really just amazing!
Happy New Years Eve!
